Serato Remote Mini 1.3

The Serato Remote Mini is a specialized version of the Serato Remote app, specifically designed for use with iPhones or iPod touches. This version takes the best features of the original Serato Remote and optimizes them for better usability on the smaller screen of these devices. With the Serato Remote Mini, you can conveniently have the app with you at all times, ready to provide additional control at your next party.

The Serato Remote Mini seamlessly connects to your laptop software and is compatible with all supported Scratch Live and Serato DJ hardware. You can load tracks, instantly double them, set and trigger Cue Points, Loops, and Samples, and manipulate FX. The app can be connected to your laptop via USB for ultra-low latency or used wirelessly, giving you the freedom to move around the stage.

This app has been designed with real-world performance in mind. It offers plug-and-play functionality with easy setup, large and easily accessible buttons that can be quickly located while performing, control over Cue Points, Samples, and FX, the ability to perform Auto Loops and Loop Rolls, super-fast Instant Doubles, and a Roll FX Mode that combines Loop Rolls with momentary FX. Additionally, the app inherits Cue Points from your Serato laptop software and mirrors virtual decks, BPM, and time information from your laptop.

You can also scroll through your library and load tracks from within the app. Furthermore, it provides control over your Scratch Live or Serato DJ Sample Player.

Similar to the Serato Remote for iPad, the Serato Remote Mini includes library control as well as three performance tabs: PADS, SP6 & FX. Each of these tabs has been carefully designed for optimal performance on iPhones and iPod touches.

The PADS performance tab allows you to control four Cue Points per deck and includes a pop-out loops panel for controlling Auto Loops and Loop Rolls.

In the SP6 performance tab, simplicity and performance are prioritized, with a play button for each slot, a global volume control, and a stop button. This allows you to trigger sounds, like airhorns, directly from your phone.

The FX performance tab offers a more intuitive and creative way of controlling Scratch Live or Serato DJ FX. It allows you to select and control your favorite FX in latched or temp modes and trigger Loop Rolls and FX simultaneously using the FX Roll Mode.

The app also includes library controls, which enable you to navigate your Serato software library on your laptop. You can easily scroll through your tracks, switch between crates, files, or folders, drag tracks to virtual decks to load them, and perform super-fast Instant Doubles by dragging tracks from deck-to-deck. Additionally, there is a fast scroll view feature that allows for quick track loading using two-finger gestures.

Before using the Serato Remote Mini, please ensure that you have a Scratch Live or Serato DJ supported hardware and the latest release of Scratch Live 2.5+ or Serato DJ 1.2.1+. The app also requires the Serato Scratch Live or Serato DJ laptop software and supported hardware.
